Born and raised in Toronto, Katisha Rasheed’s passion for real estate started in childhood, when she would eavesdrop on conversations between her dad and his buddies about the value of investing and building wealth through real estate. The seed was planted and Katisha bought her first property in her early 20s and has been investing in real estate ever since.

While studying commerce at the University of Toronto, Katisha worked as an administrative assistant for Royal Lepage Signatures (formerly Slightham Real Estate), where she developed the same client-centric approach she uses today. After graduating, Katisha joined Rogers Media as a manager of corporate events and sponsorships. Eventually, launched her own marketing and event planning firm.

 

However, real estate came knocking once again when a well-known property developer connected with Katisha and asked her to organize launch parties for their upcoming projects. This invitation led Katisha to work for the better part of a decade with a host of seasoned designers, architects, contractors, and vendors to develop well-designed and built interior spaces.
